What is Experiential Faith?

Definition of Experiential =Relating to, derived from, or providing experience, EMPIRICAL experiential knowledge, experiential lessons (Merriam-Webster)

Definition of Faith = Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen. (Heb. 11:1) (Catholic Answers)

Definition of Experiential Faith = Experiencing (touch, taste, hear and see) true hope and joy of our faith (CWP).

Experience your faith by engaging your senses. This "Sensory faith" engagement can be accessed through various way.

Suggestions for Experiencing your Faith:

• Adoration (see)
• Reading Scripture (hear)
• Receiving Eucharist  (taste)
• Listening to Catholic radio and apps (hear)
• Lighting a candle and/or incense (smell)
• Praying the Rosary (touch)
• Wearing a sacramental (touch)
• Displaying Catholic art around your home (see)
• Look at a Crucifix (see)
• Give and receive hugs (touch)
• Share lots of smiles! (touch the soul)
